Study Advisory Committee to meet Nov. 6

Edina, Minn., Oct. 9, 2008 -- The West 70th Street/Cornelia Neighborhood Study Advisory Committee (SAC) will meet 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Road.

Since 2007, the SAC has been working to study 70th Street from Minnesota Highway 100 to France Avenue to develop possible solutions for transportation and land use issues within the corridor. The Committee is led by Chairman Steve Brown and includes area residents, business owners and members of the City’s Transportation and Planning commissions.

At the Nov. 6 meeting, the SAC will review a Draft Report with recommendations for West 70th Street. This is anticipated to be the last SAC meeting.
