Grandview Square Park

Artwork at Grandview SquareThe Artwork: The sculptures on display at Grandview Square Park change annually and are on display from May to October. They are displayed on three concrete pads placed around the park.

The Artists: The Edina Public Art Committee selects pieces on display at Grandview Square Park. Artists from the metropolitan area and out-state Minnesota, or those with a Minnesota heritage, are encouraged to apply.

2006: "Norse Knot" by Janey Westin, "Leaf Stack" by Nick Legeros, "Raven" by Bryan Young (now in City Hall)

2007: "Sovereign Son" by Nick Legeros (pictured right), "Red Gear Head" by Albert Belleveau, "Otter" by Jeffrey Birch (now in Edinborough Park)

2008: "River Spirit" by Julie Ann Stage, "Blue Chain Jane" by Albert Belleveau, "Bunny" by Jeffrey Kahlstrom

2009: "Courting Bench" by Marcia McEachron, "The Plunge" by Deb Zeller and "Asclepius and Hygieia" by Nick Legeros

2010: "Head of St. Joseph" by Nicholas Legeros, "Bridled Spirit" by Deb Zeller and "Toro" by Chris Gustafson.

Funding: The sculptures are funded by grants from the Edina Community Foundation.
