Municipal Liquor Food Drive

Edina Liquor was proud to once again partner with MillerCoors and the Minnesota Municipal Beverage Association (MMBA) for the second-annual state-wide Municipal Liquor Food Drive in October.

While food donations were down from last year, Edina Liquor was still able to collect nearly 500 pounds of non-perishable food items. Edina Liquor's Grandview store on Vernon Avenue collected 260 pounds, while the Southdale and 50th & France stores each collected 110 pounds of food.

All food collected at our three locations was donated to Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People (VEAP), a local non-profit agency serving low-income, elderly and disabled persons in the communities of Bloomington, Edina, Richfield and south Minneapolis.

Statewide, municipal liquor stores collected more than 20 tons of food for local food shelves.
